Stepping Out of Grief:

When you experience a major loss, you may find yourself dealing with multiple corollary losses you weren't expecting. This is especially true when the person who is gone had been a member of your household -- whether a spouse, a child, a parent, a sibling, or a roommate. It's a loss that's compounded by myriad changes, from tiny to profound, that reoccur every single day.

When my husband died, every moment served up fresh reminders that he was gone: waking up alone, cooking for one, having to be the one to put out the trash, not having that partner to turn to for advice and support ….

Stepping Out of Grief is a program that is currently being developed in various formats to help you gain strategies to deal with all of the changes that accompany the emotional pain of grief.
